This privacy policy sets out how Staels Design LTD ( “us” / “we”) use and protect any information that you give us when you use this website.

We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy policy.

We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes.

This Privacy Policy applies only to your use of Our Site. It does not extend to any websites that are linked to from Our Site (whether We provide those links or whether they are shared by other users). We have no control over how your data is collected, stored or used by other websites and We advise you to check the privacy policies of any such websites before providing any data to them.

Who we are

Our Site, www.wheelair.co.uk is owned and operated by Staels Design, a limited company registered in Scotland Under SC529712 whose registered address is Henderson Loggie, Gordon Chambers, 90 Mitchell Street, Glasgow, G1 3NQ and whose main trading address is PO Box 7428, Glasgow, G51 9ER. Our VAT number is GB258895732. (referred to in these Terms as “Staels Design”, “we” or “us”).

 

What personal data we collect

We may collect the following information from you if you provide it to Us:

  • first name, last name, date of birth, email address, country, job title, phone number, company name and additional information that you provide when contacting us using our websites, especially information provided in free text fields of contact forms (“contact data”);
  • additional data that you provide to Us in comments on the wheelAIR websites, especially in forms of discussion boards and using the comment features of blogs (“comment data”);
  • additional data that you provide to Us while applying for a job, e.g. your CV, certificates, attestations, etc. (“job application data”);
  • email address, phone number, name, company name and country provided when subscribing to a newsletter or other marketing information sent out by wheelAIR (“direct marketing data”)

We also process the following personal data, which is passively collected when you enter Our Site:

  • personal data sent by your web browser, i.e. information about your type of web browser, your operating system and selected settings (e.g. language, region, font size, font types and other configuration) may be collected (“browser data”);
  • your IP address, information about the amount of data transferred, stored in access log files (“usage data”);
  • a list of URLs starting with a referring site, your activity on Our Site, and the site you exit to (automatically collected).

We use the financial service of a third party system called Stripe. We do not store any financial information such as credit / debit card numbers belonging to WheelAIR® or other Staels Design product users and purchasers. What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Providing and managing your Account;
  • Providing and managing your access to Our Site;
  • Personalising and tailoring your experience on Our Site;
  • Supplying Our products and services to you;
  • Personalising and tailoring Our products and services for you;
  • Responding to communications from you;
  • Supplying you with email eg. Newsletters, alters, information on new products that you have subscribed to (you may unsubscribe or opt-out at any time by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of the email or contacting us on info@wheelair.co.uk)

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. For this purpose, we will not hold your personal data for any longer than is reasonable which we have calculated to be 25 years. Further, we have taken reasonable steps to protect your information against unauthorised access and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, damage and destruction. Nevertheless, any personal data submitted by you is at your own risk.

Some or all of your data may be stored or transferred outside of the European Economic Area (“the EEA”) (The EEA consists of all EU member states, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). You are deemed to accept and agree to this by using Our Site and submitting information to Us. If We do store or transfer data outside the EEA, We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated as safely and securely as it would be within the EEA and under the General Data Protection Regulation 2018. Such steps may include, but not be limited to, the use of legally binding contractual terms between Us and any third parties We engage and the use of the EU-approved Model Contractual Arrangements.

Our websites also reference and include links to third-party websites such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest and YouTube. These links take you to wheelAIR pages dedicated to wheelAIR content on these separate platforms. As a rule, these are identified by stating the respective third-party Internet address or the company/product logo. We have no influence whatsoever on the contents and design of websites of other providers. By referencing/linking these external websites we do not adopt their contents as our own.

We cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide while visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy policy. You should exercise caution and look at the appropriate privacy policy applicable to the relevant website being used.

 

How we use cookies

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. These are amongst others: downloads, discussion boards, job applications, individual requests (e.g. using a contact form), blogs, and the subscribing to Our newsletter. The lawfulness for the data processing is the performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract. Using this personal data is required to provide the contractual obligations.
